1. Could we be provided a block diagram of the system so we can provide a better answer?
2. In this block diagram please indicate if there is a method already in place to send a signal to the MCF831xA to begin accelerating/ to start decelerating.

The motor is able to running properly, the customer actually is wondering is there a way to implement the acceleration and deceleration algorithm for straight motion?
