My customer is evaluating 8343 and has several questions, could you please help to response?
1. What is the meaning of peak source gate current and peak sink gate current? What is the difference?
2. If we set IDRIVEP to 1A and PWM frequency is 20KHz, what is the minimum duty cycle of VGHx?
3. If we set IDRIVEP to 1A and we want to achieve 0%~100% duty cycle, what is the maximum PWM frequency can support?

1. What is the meaning of peak source gate current and peak sink gate current? What is the difference?
To simply put it, source and sink just describes the direction in which the current is flowing. So peak source gate current is the maximum Isource will be and peak sink gate current is the maximum Isink will be. Another way to look at it is peak source gate current is the maximum current that will go into the gate of the external MOSFET and peak sink gate current is the maximum current that will come out of the gate of the external MOSFET.

To calculate the minimum duty cycle I would need a few more data points. This E2E explains in detail how you would be able to find minimum and maximum duty cycle using an excel spreadsheet tool.
3. If we set IDRIVEP to 1A and we want to achieve 0%~100% duty cycle, what is the maximum PWM frequency can support?
The maximum PWM Frequency( fPWM ) of the device is 200kHz
