DRV8350H-EVM: Control the sensored BLDC motor using command line

Hey,

I have DRV8350H-EVM evaluation kit which I am using for testing purposes and we are able to run the motor we have at 100% speed in sensored mode using the GUI provided by TI. I want to know what specific commands/data it sends to the EVM that allows to run it. I am aware of the USB API in the firmware but It would greatly help to know the specific commands being sent from initialization to motor speed set that makes it run.

Hey Ashwani,

I recommend checking out the EVM tools folder page (https://www.ti.com/tool/DRV8350H-EVM) for all the EVM support documents.

This includes our FW package which should show you the code used in the EVM. This can be used to understand the functions being used to make the motor run.

Hey,

I am already exploring the firmware and have some idea about the callbacks being used but I am unable to identify what specific commands does the GUI sends to EVM Can you please help with that? It would greatly help

Hey Ashwani,

The major signals going to the driver are the signals to turn on/off the gates.
