Hi Team,

Do you have sample code for DRV8718-Q1? My customer want a code that with complex funtion of DRV8718 for their reference. My customer also has need like DRV8872 & DRV3245, ST may offer driver code of their product, will TI support this need?

I noticed that DRV8718 EVM may has codes to drive DRV8718, but it cannot be accessed from website, can you share to me?

On the EVM page (DRV8718S-Q1EVM Evaluation board | TI.com), we provide the software for the EVM's so they can look at that for reference.

Please let me know if you can access this and or if you have any other questions.

Where can I download the code? There is nothing related to software.

Hey Jass,

Sadly we don't really have example code designed to easily integrate with a customer's system for this part. However, you can download the EVM firmware and GUI source files.

It looks like we are missing the link to the firmware on the DRV8718 page, but it's the same firmware as the DRV8714S-Q1EVM. So go to this page: https://www.ti.com/tool/DRV8714S-Q1EVM#order-start-development

And download "SLVC809 — DRV87XX_DRV8106-Q1EVM Software". You'll find the firmware in "DRV87xx_DRV8106-Q1EVM_Firmware_1.5.zip"
