DRV8311: PWM OUTx can not be configured

Part Number: DRV8311

Hi Team,

I am currently trying to drive the DRV8311 Eval board with a DRV8311P on it with an external MCU (not the launch pad).

The tSPI drivers are read correctly, and can be written also.  However, no matter what the registers A-C is written after power up, as PWMG_PERIOD is 0x03e8 and PWM_EN is 1h, others register are default value, the OUTA, OUTB, OUTC is low.  The VM  power supply with 5V or 12V (configurable), OUTx is always low.

Is there a standard operating procedure or diagram for what registers need to be configured before successfully driving a motor?

Could you help check this case? Thanks.

Best Regards,

Cherry
