ULC1001-DRV290XEVM: other lens materials can be ordered?

Hello E2E team,

for our tests, we would like to see, how is the cleaning result by other lens materials.

In your mechanical Datasheet you refer to a list of other possible lens materials.

Is it possible to buy the LCS system for testing with one of these lens materials?

    Hi Anja,

    Thanks for reaching out. We only sell our lens cover prototype with one lens (the last one the list). The lists is to show other options we considered when developing the LCS.

    Hi Sydney,

    okay. thanks for your answer. Then I would like to know what is your timeline or target for finish the developing of LCS? That would be also interesting for our using in Development phase and serial production...

    And if our lens is broken, then is it possible to buy over TI a new lens or can we buy only the whole LCS System?

    Hi Anja,

    We have already released a cylindrical piezo lens cover system and are working to release a ring piezo lens cover system by the end of the year. Though these lens cover systems are just prototypes to be used for evaluation and are not for production. The development and testing of the production LCS must be owned by the customer.

    We do not sell the individual parts of the LCS, but I do not believe we have seen any breaking of the lens of the LCS before.
