Hi team,

My customer set PVDD = 13.5V DVDD = 5V nSLEEP = 0V and test Iq. They tested 16mA on PVDD pin.

I think at this time they run the device in active mode, so I asked them to test the current and voltage at PVDD/DRAIN/nSLEEP/DVDD pin.

Then they cut the power line on DVDD and test the current on PVDD+DRAIN pin(they connect them together), it is still 16mA. It does not match to our datasheet. When nSLEEP = 0V, the device runs in sleep mode and Iq should be several uA.

Can you set PVDD/DVDD/nSLEEP to same voltage in EVM and test the current in PVDD? So that I can show them the result.

Did I miss anything to check?

Hi Peter,

I measured around 14 mA for IPVDD in the active state and around 2 mA in sleep mode. I am going to double check the second measurement tomorrow to ensure there is nothing else connected to the PVDD pin. Can they also check on their end if they have any connections on the PVDD other than the DRV and the FETs. I will update you once I perform this measurement.
