For the electrical parameters of the mechanical hard drive motor, the drive voltage for the 3.5 inch disk is 12 V, the drive voltage for the 2.5 inch disk is 5 V and the drive voltage for the 2.5 inch disk is a sensorless brushless DC motor.

Using a typical brushless motor drive drives the hard drive motor, the speed can be adjusted by an analogue knob, but the exact speed cannot be set.

The customer is looking for a drive system that can precisely control the speed of the motor and can accommodate a 12-V drive voltage of 3.5-inch hard drives.
