We need a low cost FOC solution with Single Shunt current measurement.

Thanks for contacting us with this post on E2E. We have stepper drivers in our portfolio that may be of help. We do not have a packaged solution for PMSM drive with FOC. You may also find several other discussions on this subject in the E2E forum. You may also consider the DRV8711 stepper motor gate driver and use it in AIN1, AIN2 and BIN1 and BIN2 mode (bypassing the internal indexer) and develop an FOC solution with a TI C2000 controller and external FETs sized to support your current drive requirements. There are several C2000 packaged FOC algorithms (suites) available that you may able to adapt. We do not have any other additional information. But if you have any questions regarding the DRV8962 (DDV package can support up to 10 A full-scale current) or the DRV8711, do post it in this forum for support. Thank you.
