for our project I would like to drive two single directional brushed-DC motors independently with one DRV8702.
Is this possible and if yes, how can I control both motors via IN1/IN2. Is the VDS(OCP)-protection still working then?

Hi Maximilian,
It is possible to drive two single directional motors with the DRV8702. You would use it in the independent half bridge configuration. In this case one side of either motor would be connected to either GND or VM (HS load or LS load in the figure below). I recommend getting our EVM and trying your configuration.
