DRV8245-Q1: Thermal calculator with 1oz copper

Hello,

My customer is interested in getting a version of the thermal calculator with 1oz copper throughout the PCB rather than the current version which assumes 2oz copper on top layer. Can the calculator be modified for this use case?

    Hello Matthew,

    The Excel file contains the source formula and simulations. The "Foster_Networks" worksheet has the data for 2oz Cu. for various PCB sizes and driver devices. You'll have to modify this data for 1oz Cu layer. We do not have this information unfortunately. Thanks.
