Hi Team,

Customer wants to know:

1. Can DRV8908 be used as a low-side driver to drive the load indicator and control the frequency to 100Hz?

2. If only DRV8908 uses 7 channels, should the other OUT channel be directly suspended, or does it need to be grounded or connected to power?

Hi Annie,

1. Yes it can be used as LS driver and use 100 Hz PWM. Not sure I understand what was meant by "drive the load indicator". Is it an indicator like an LED indicator?

2. For the unused channel leave the pin unconnected (must leave open) and do not enable LS or HS of that channel in the register.

Yes, It's the indicator light that drives the LED.

It should work. Why does an LED need 100 Hz PWM specifically? Just to control the brightness?
