How to test and set up for Gate Driver

1. Bootstrap measurement and configuration criteria

2. How to measure penetration current when nOCTW occurs

3. Dead time setting standard

4. Precautions when designing artwork (Thermal, EMI)

Regarding dead time insertion setting, this is largely applications based, but a standard setting you will often see on most of our DRV devices is 100nS and is where I would recommend starting at during evaluation.

I may need extra time to look into the nOCTW info, but can you clarify what calculation/current measurement information is necessary for the application? The DRV8303 has two current sense amplifiers that can be used to monitor the phase current and may be sufficient.
