DRV8838: Using DRV883x to generate square wave with negatives and positives alternances

Part Number: DRV8838

Hello,

I am looking for the easiest way to generate a square signal with negative and positive alternances, from 5V DC.

As output, I would like to have on pins O1 and O2:

VO1O2 = 5V, followed by VO1O2 = -5V.

Square wave Frequency does not matter, could be between 50 kHz and 1 MHz.

This O1O2 power supply should be able to deliver 250 mA.

I am looking for a low RDSon solution so I am interested in the DRV883x solution.

I see in the datasheet that there is an embedded oscillator.

Can I generate my square signal with just the DRV883x ? Or is it mandatory to have an external oscillator/to input PWM ?

Thanks
