Hi Team,
The nFAULT pin of the chip is abnormally pulled low. The customer concentrated the three-phase current collection into one current collection. Please help to confirm whether it can be used as in the schematic diagram?
Regards,
Annie

Hi Annie,
Thank you for your question.
I will check further this week about the configuration but this schematic appears to be single-shunt which should be acceptable. Please allow me to look over this schematic further and follow-up with any additional questions.
Best Regards,
-Joshua
Hi Joshua,
This is a more detailed schematic, looking forward to your reply.

Thanks Annie,
This is helpful for review. Please expect a response the first half of this week.

Hi Joshua,
Customer is urgent. Would you kindly provide an answer to the query at your earliest convenience?

Hi Annie,
I apologize for the delay.
After further overview it may be that the device CSA shunt configuration is causing the VDS monitoring to trip.
For this single shunt CSA configuration, I believe only one amplifier should be connected and the other two phase currents (B, C) are derived from the single input value of the phase (A).
Can we test three things:
1. Disable VDS monitor (VDS pin connected to DVDD) to determine if this is the source of the fault.
2. Measure the voltage/current on the shunt resistor in the current configuration to determine if there are violations of expected values.
3. Change configuration by connecting only one phase to the amplifier SPx/SNx and observe device operation/fault status.
Please let me know if there are clarifications from my side.
Best Regards,
-Joshua
