Hi,
Is there any alternatives of DRV8234, as this IC is not available till May-24? The main feature required is Stall detection for a Brushed DC Motor. The maximum current of my motor is 0.5A. Please list if any other option is available.

Hi,

We do have inventory available for DRV8234 ICs. You can place an order here. Additionally, we also have DRV8213 and DRV8214 that support stall detection for BDC motors. DRV8215 and DRV8235 also support stall detection but are still in production.

Thanks. But DRV8234 is out of stock acutally. Also my motor voltage is 12V the other chips support upto 11V only. Secondly does DRV8231 support stall detection?

DRV8231 does not support stall detection.

Can you please tell us where it shows DRV8234 as out of stock? Please click here to place orders for DRV8234 ICs. Are you talking about DRV8234 evaluation module (EVM) boards?

Here it shows. Also its not available on DigiKey, Mouser or any other Chinese suppliers.

With regards to DRV8231, please refer to this FAQ for detecting stall externally using IPROPI.
