Other Parts Discussed in Thread: USB2ANY
Hello Team,
It is the first time I use the DRV10983EVM. I downloaded the software, and the required Labview software as well. However, Labview requires a license, how can I get this license?
Thanks,
Mohamed

I found a previous post with a link to labview 2014 that works, no request for license. However I have another problem:

The Any2USB firmware needs update. I followed the steps: disconnect USB, press S1, Connect USB while pressing S1, but nothing happens
I managed to upgrade the USB2Any on an oder labtop with Windows 7. When I try to use it back on the original labtop, Iget the following error:

I am using a Power Supply to provide VCC. I set mode to voltage control and set voltage to 24V. once I connect to evm, mode changes automatically to current control, voltage drops to 1.9V and current increases to 1.86A, is this a normal behavior?
Hi Mohamed Badawy,
HW may have issue, Can you send image how are you connecting VCC, GND to the board from power supply?
Thanks and Best Regards,

Hi Venkatadri,

Actually 1.86A was the max current I set in the PS, I reduced this to 1.5A for safety. Using an Avometer, I measured the resistance between VCC and Gnd and it shows a short circuit.
Please let me know if the picture is not clear
Hi Mohamed Badawy,
Thanks for providing the image. I don't see any issue with (I was guessing if we are making wrong polarity connection)
Looks like device may have gone bad.
Thanks and Best Regards,
