Hello,

In the Table A-1 of the Users' Guide, for the DRV89x2 variant, it shows J26 as DNP.

But in the photograph of Figure A-4, DRV8962EVM jumper population guide, J26 is populated.

Which is correct?

Hey Karen,

Thank you for finding and pointing out this discrepancy. For DRV8962 J26 should be populated.

I traced through the nets, and it looks like J26 needs to be populated so that the EN4 signal (Yellow-->Green) gets passed through to the DRV8962 device.

Feel free to download the DRV84xx DRV82x2 DRV89x2EVM Hardware Files (Rev. D) to look through the schematic PDF to find all the jumper configurations and where they're going.

Hi Jacob,

Thank you. I had looked at the schematic, but couldn't tie the words by the J25 and J26 designations back to the

8962 ... it only mentioned the 8262.

Yeah agreed, the tables not matching is confusing and misleading.

For schematic, the DRV8962 will be the 004 variant of the PCB, so "MD040A(004)_Sch.pdf"
