Yes, please have them order the DRV8243S-Q1LEVM . It works with a Web GUI (https://dev.ti.com/gallery/view/MotorDriversBSM/DRV824x_DRV814x-Q1EVM-GUI/ver/1.0.1/) that gives easy configuration of the device. See the DRV824x_DRV814x-Q1EVM User’s Guide for how to use the GUI and EVM.
