DRV8434S: Full-scale current accuracy

Hello team,

I want to know the detail of Full-scale current accuracy of +/- 4% from the datasheet.

Is this indicating Current trip accuracy of +/-4%?

I want to use DVDD as VREF from resistor divider.
Is this current trip accuracy (±4%) including the DVDD accuracy (5V±0.25V) and resistor error of ±1%?
OR should I add those errors in to account?

Hi Kei,

Yes, the +/-4% indicates the current trip accuracy when driving at full-scale.

I am going to reach out to design to confirm on the current trip accuracy includes the DVDD accuracy.

The Vref resistor would be additional error.

Hi Kei-san,

The design team has just informed me that the Vref value is fixed. The additional variation in DVDD accuracy will have to be accounted for separately.
