Hi,

I am using the DRV8353RS-EVM to operate the BLDC motor, and I am controlling the motor speed using the GUI. I pressed the RESET switch S2 (FSMJSMA), and the EVM board began signalling the fault. I then tried to connect it to the GUI to operate the motor, but the motor was not functioning, and the EVM board indicated the fault Signal.

Is there any indication of the type of fault reported on the GUI/ status Registers?

Or does the GUI no longer connect?

Hi Joshua Maize,

I observed that GDF (Gate Driver Fault) in the Fault status Register on the GUI and the EVM board indicated the fault Signal.

Hi Ajay,

Thank you for your patience on my delay for this matter.

Can we please measure the input signals (INHx/INLx) and the corresponding outputs (GHx/GLx) to see the timing during motor commutation?

This will help verify the GDF fault if this issue is still present.
