DRV8210EVM: Current sensing with DRV8210EVM

The DRV8210EVM includes a circuit (not installed) for current sensing. The amplifier recommended is a TLV9051DRL, which is a SOT-553 device. I can't find the part thru distribution, and the package is marked as "experimental" on the data sheet (Revised Feb 2024). Is there another part which is recommended or a way to get samples from TI.

My problem is I don't see the DRL package (SOT-553) listed in the parts ordering page, nor the data sheet. I was hoping to get a suggested replacement or way to obtain the SOT-553 package.

Hi Kent,

We haven't released the DRL package in the TLV9051 yet. If you are needing it to be in a DRL package, we have the OPA170, OPA171, and TLV341.

If you are careful you could potentially get a DCK device soldered onto a DRL package. The DCK is a little bigger but it might be possible.
