DRV8434S: Two motor drivers with outputs connected together (AOUT1 to AOUT1), but only 1 driver active at a time?

Part Number: DRV8434S

Hello, I want to have two motor drivers on the board populated, and pick between which driver to use.  Only one driver will be awake at a time. AOUT1 connected to AOUT1, BOUT1 to BOUT1 etc.

This means that there will be full VM voltage on the OUTx pins of the driver that is asleep.  Will this be okay? The pins will be in Hi-Z mode so I was thinking it would be okay, but wanted to make sure.

Best,

Jacob
