DRV8304: Question about sailing.

Hello,

I want to ask if there is potential danger to destroy the mosfets when the motor is on sailing and genarating BEMF, do you have any configuration in drv8304 to protect the mosfets?
And what about in braking mode? Exist also the same problem for the mosfets?

Hi Nikos,

Can you just clarify what you mean by sailing? Would this be when all the MOSFETs are in the OFF state? Coasting?

yes, you are right, I mean if exist danger to destroy the mosfets on coasting and how to protect it.
