DRV8350R: Random Fault Signal

Part Number: DRV8350R

DRV Fault pin is giving random fault signals from fault pin, when checked with fault registers, they are showing 0.

    I am using DRV providing an external pullup resistor of 10K and reading output of this pin to the controller, whenever we drive a BLDC motor using DRV at time of acceleration, the fault pin given out fault signal to MCU.

    Hi Naman, 

    Can you help list what device parameters you are using? (PWM Frequency,  IDRIVE setting,  VDS/Overcurrent setting) and provide a schematic if available?

    If this issue occurs when accelerating, I would first recommend setting IDRIVE to the lowest current setting (if not already) as the device may be switching too quickly resulting in potential over voltage and overcurrent faults.
