DRV8889-Q1: what is the variation range of Torque Count?

Hi team,

For DRV8889A-Q1 working at same application environment (same input supply, same load, same temp, same motor speed), what is the variation range of Torque Count? BYD met different value of torque count (difference is 3) with different DRV8889A-Q1. Thanks!

Hey Jiawei,

The variation will depend on the stepper motor.

Please see this app note for how to adjust the device for best TRQ_CNT performance, and some of the cases where it won't give much variation in output: Sensorless Stall Detection With the DRV8889-Q1

Are you asking about the variation like in STALL condition vs normal running condition? Or variation from device to device? Or variation from motor to motor?
