DRV8329AEVM: Current Sense not working on evaluation board

Hello,

I am testing DRV8329AEVM with LAUNCHXL-F280049C. I was able to spin the motor using an example program for the BLDC trap drive but I have an issue sensing the phase current. The output of the DRV8329A seems to be always stuck around 0.4V regardless of the motor phase current. See the plot below.

Would you be able to let me know what might be going on here?

Can you check CSAREF voltage, is it tied to AVDD? also CSAGAIN level?

Can you show schematics section here?

This is TI evaluation module. Here is the link to the schematic www.ti.com/.../DRV8329AEVM I tried different gain setting by changing jumper on J2 heading but that didn't help.

Try for Hiz (Max gain) and re confirm if CSA REF is not floating , it should be tied to AVDD.

Current levels are very less , it is less than 2A and what is the R shunt used? Hence try with max gain and monitor SOA on oscilloscope for better sampling. You can view by zooming to PWM frequency scale.
