Hello.

Could you provide more detail on this datasheet parameter please?

Peak Output Winding Current = 8A.

Is that 8A RMS over a specific time interval? Or is that continuous?

Hey Philip,

The 8A is the peak current so that is about 5.6A RMS current. The 8A is not continuous. Device heating and ambient temperatures are also of concern at higher current to not hit thermal shutdown.
