Hi Team，

A customer is evaluating the EVM of MCF8316A and currently wants to adjust the FOC parameters to increase the starting torque capability. Which parameters can be adjusted to achieve this? Thanks!

    Hi Hailiang,

    Could you tell me what the application is? Also, why is increased starting torque capability needed?

    For higher starting torque, we recommend using IDP as the motor startup method. When using IDP we recommend setting IPD_ADV_ANGLE to 90 degrees to start with.
