I would like to know if the DRV8434S drivers can also be connected to a brushed DC motor.

Hi Fabio,

DRV8434S is not intended to drive a brushed DC motor. If you tell us more about your requirements I can recommend you one. For starters, please tell me the voltage and current levels required, and what the end application is.

Hi Karan,

We need to drive one stepper motor or one DC motor. Supply voltage is from 4V to above 8,4V (2A max current). Package must be belove 4x5mm. We need to measure current too.

Hi Fabio,

Stepper drivers with integrated micro stepping indexers cannot be used to drive a BDC motor because of the input interfacing limitation. The closest recommendation would be a DRV8845. It can drive two stepper motor or one stepper motor and two BDC motors. Thanks.
