Thank you for your question.
DRVOFF pin has internal pull down. And DRVOFF=Low means output is turned off.
Therefore, customer need to have external pull up to keep DRVOFF pin=High (OUTPUT enabled).

Output Disabled when DRVOFF pin = High, right?
So I think open is okay, but if there is any special reason that DRVOFF cannot be open, I would like to know.

Sorry, I made wrong comment in previous post. Yes, output is disabled when DRVOFF pin=High. Customer can left DRVOFF pin open, then DRVOFF=Low and output is enabled.
