Hi team,

May I ask why the customer cannot choose the Brake_pin_mode based on the MCF8315EVM?(They choose device MCF8315A)

But when they choose the device MCF8329A, they can use the Brake_pin_mode in the GUI.

This feature is reserved and not used in MCF8315A.

But why the MCF8315A data sheet shows that the BRAKE_PIN_MODE can be configured by the PIN_CONFIG Register?

Hi Venkatadri,

Could you please help check if the MCF8316A can support the brake_pin_mode? The MCF8316A's datasheet shows that it can support the function, but seems like this function is locked on the EVM. The customer needs this function to realize the motor hold.
