Currently, there is a customer need to miniaturize the ulc system, so we are considering reducing the diameter of the lens cover from 25mm to 15mm.

Please let me know about the expected problems that should be considered at this time.

Currently our LCS-FL-RNG15 prototype has an aperture of 15mm (inner diameter of the piezo).

For scaling the dimensions, the key would be to make sure the resonant frequency of the lens still matches with that of the piezo.

So the problems with reducing the size of the lens cover is that you can't know until we actually try?

As I mentioned before, the main problem for scaling down dimensions would be matching the resonant frequency of the piezo to that of the lens for your application. You might have strict restrictions on lens/piezo dimensions and materials, which may make them difficult to resonate with each other.
