The Current Sense amplifier as shown in figure 15 may see +/- voltage as a differential signal at pins SNS_NI and SNS_I especially in 4 quadrant mode. Given Unitrode IC is powered from 12 VDC to ground, when motor is used in 4 quadrant mode, the voltage at the current sense will be + and - as it is shown in figure 15. Does this mean that sense amplifier can sense negative voltages when current is flowing in opposite direction even if it is not powered by negative supply voltage? I don't see the input differential voltage been specified in the current sense amplifier section on page 4 of spec. And what is the range of the current sense amplifier below 0 volts. For instance at 3 amp max across 0.1 ohm sense resistor, the negative voltage swing can be -0.3 volts. Can you provide details in the sense amplifier input voltage range . thanks
