DRV8424: Interface between Field Oriented Control and DRV8424

Hi,

We are considering the possibility of connecting Field Oriented Control and DRV8424.

We plan to use the following products for Field Oriented Control.

As far as I can see from the DataSheet, it seems possible to connect as long as you pay attention to the current limit of the DRV8424P

I would like some advice on concerns when connecting Field Oriented Control and DRV8424. We are considering connecting with the following configuration.

    We're not familiar with the 3rd party device. But looking at your block diagram with external current sensing the DRV8424P maybe a feasible solution. The DRV8424P has integrated current regulation using VREFA and VREFB inputs. It should be set to its maximum 3.3 V and current must not exceed 2.5 A else internal regulation will kick-in and affect operation.
