DRV8873: PWM generator for H-bridge driver

Hi Zeng,

The DRV8873 has a max input PWM frequency of 100kHz. 

What application requires such fast switching for input signals?

What are the voltage, current, and load requirements for the application?

Would you be using PH/EN (one input PWM), or PWM mode (two input PWMs)?

The question isn't about DRV8873 specifically, but about PWM generators in general. There are many off the shelf H bridge drivers some with PWM frequencies exceeding 1MHz and peak currents up to 10A. So the question is if in general there are PWM generators per spec provided above and what technology is better in terms of price vs performance.

We don't have any motor drivers that can PWM at 1MHz.

The DRV8412 does support up to 500kHz switching frequency and can reach up to 12A peak current in parallel mode. 

The DRV8962 can support an applied PWM signal up to 200kHz and drive up to 10A peak current with DDV package.

That's Ok, I'm still looking fo a PWM generator. Do you know if there are some? 

OK, thank you. I could find LTC6992 (analog devices, not TI). It's not good enough pulse width error wise, but my question if TI has similar products?
