Hi TI :
So far we are going to verify moto driving signal waveform.
we found the wavefrom seems not square wave.
when signal High level to Low level, The waveform will slow descend.
Do you know why ??
we design in DRV8836 for control zoom of moto lens.
also we design in DRV8834 from control focus of moto lens. we didn't see the issue in DRV8834.
reference circuit and waveform signal as below :
Hi,
Can you capture the input signals as well for AOUT and BOUT?
What control mode are you using?
Best,
Keerthi
Hi Keerthi :
we use IN/IN mode
I have captured picture for A IN/OUT and B IN/OUT as below picture.
we didn't found the phenomenon in input.
for out issue is it correctly ??
Hi Ian,
When Ain1 and Ain2 are both 0, the half bridges are HI-Z. This means that the current will flow through the body diodes:
Current Recirculation and Decay Modes (Rev. A)
The voltage one the outputs switches, which is what you are seeing. Should have no impact as the current through load never changes. If this undesired switch between forward/reverse and brake.
Best,
Keerthi
