DRV8874-Q1: nSLEEP change then fault will pull down

customer found when change nSLEEP status, will trig fault pull down.

Picture one is nSLEEP from low to high, then fault pull down.

Picture two is nSLEEP from high to low, then fault also pull down.

Could you please help check how to solve this issue ? Thanks.

Hi Haiwen,

For the low to high of nSLEEP case it is expected bahavior. Please see section from datasheet:

It might be similar to this thread on e2e for the high to low case:

What impact does this second case have on the system? Are they checking for faults even after putting the device to sleep? If they do, can you tell me why?

Hi Kumanan:

This is DRV8873-Q1 behavior, I can't find this explanation in DRV8874-Q1 datasheet. Please help confirm DRV8874-Q1 has the same behavior . Thanks.
