Dear Sir/Ma'm,

1. Has the DRV fully provided with the associated passive components for making the device to boost to its desired range?

2. Has the gain control provision been provided with externally accessible features?

3.Up to how many layers could the device support to drive actuator to the full extent?

4.Has TI developed any actuator ? If so pl. provide me with the varied range of actuators for space & defence/commercial application.

Here are a few responses to your questions:

The DRV8662 "full datasheet" has suggestions for all the component values to setup the boost converter to the desired voltage. If you haven't already, please request the full datasheet from this link (you will need to login to your my.ti.com account to access the form): https://focus-webapps.ti.com/general/docs/event/accesseventaction.tsp?actionId=1106&profileConfirmed=true&visitedFlag=1&cmd=page&pollid=REGISTRATIONS!drv8662evm2
Please use a company, school, or institution email when completing the form.
There are two pins on the DRV8662, GAIN0 and GAIN1, which set the gain of the amplifier.
The number of layers does not matter as much as the actuator capacitance and drive voltage. The recommended load for the DRV8662 is 50nF at 200V or 680nF at 50V and everything in between. It really depends on the load and the load current rather than the number of layers.
TI does not develop actuators, but I can recommend a few companies that do. Murata, AAC, Hokuriku, Ceratech
