DRV8214EVM: Number of Ripples too high for the GUI.

Good morning,
I use a small 6v motor size 370 (RC car). I capture the IPROPI output with the oscilloscope for calibration, but I obtain 25 peaks in 1000us, which makes 250 peaks in 10ms. I cannot fill in the GUI these values.

Am I missing something?

I think it's my fault, we must do the test engine with a 100% duty cycle. Is this correct?

I now have 32 peak / 50ms.

This seems more likely. Let us know if you have more questions. Please make sure your current waveform looks similar to this:

As an example, this waveform has 54 ripples in ~90 ms.

Hi, I have this now, it looks a bit like your example. If I count correctly, there are 13 peaks / 20ms. Correct?

Hi Yves,

The waveform seems to be noisy. But yes, I do count 13 peaks.

For the time period, I would recommend you to use cursors. Measure he time in ms from the first peak to the last. Make sure you use the number 12 and not 13 for the number of peaks since you'll be measuring the number of peaks 'between' the cursors.
