Hi team,
May I know why torque count will keep 4095 for a while after motor start up when using stall detection? And when need to use *8 multiply? Thanks!

Hi Rayna,
Were you testing with the EVM? If so change the "Stall Detection during acceleration" setting to "Enable" and increase Acceleration Rate to 20000 if you were using the default settings. The increase in the Rate is to avoid a false stall detection during acceleration phase of the ramp profile. While the Stall Detection during acceleration setting is Disabled the EN_STL bit is disabled during the ramp up and during this time torque count will display 4095.
I hope this was the setup. Let me know if further questions. Thank you.
