See below current capability of DRV8245-Q1 with 12V operation and PCB design as mentioned in the foot notes. These calculations also could be done using the SLVRBI3 — Full Bridge Driver Junction Temperature Estimator Excel downloaded from the product webpage, https://www.ti.com/product/DRV8245-Q1.
Plugging in the values from the motor requirement you shared with us, the inrush current of 34.35 A and stall current of 35 A is higher than the minimum IOCP specifications in the datasheet. See below. It is possible the device will encounter OCP trip with the inrush / stall current in your application with the DRV8245-Q1.
Also assuming 12 V operation and plugging in the continuous current of 16 A it shows the device will experience thermal shut down TSD. 10 A continuous will have no issues. See below.
Based on these estimations for you motor requirement assuming 12 V operation using the DRV8145-Q1 x2 of them to form a full H-Bridge would be an option. You can do a thermal estimation using our half-bridge calculator from the DRV8145-Q1 webpage. Also you can evaluate these devices with your motor using the corresponding EVMs.
You mentioned frequency of 1100 Hz. Was this for PWM input? Using PWM also can be estimated with same Excel thermal estimator calculator. Thank you.
