Hello,

I want to drive 2 different bldc motors. 1st fuel pump draws about 12V 1A current and I need to control speed at low speeds. unfortunately I could not measure rpm of motor. 2nd motor fan motor 12V draws about 15A current and rotates maximum 10000rpm. I want to see the speed of all motors on my microprocessor. I want to control speed by changing pwm duty according to my target speed based on rpm feedback. Your driver suggestions and guiding embedded software example will make my job very easy.

Hi Muhammet,

The MCF8329A provides list of registers to read the speed of motor

FG_SPEED_FDBK - This value is updated based on FG pin and this can be configured to show FG even when motor is coasting

SPEED_FDBK - This shows estimated speed and this shows direction of speed.

We can program I2C address for each of this in the register DEVICE_CONFIG1 [I2C_SLAVE_ADDR] from 0 to 0x7F values.

We are working on example firmware about interfacing, as of now you can refer to the MSP430 code as example from GUI firmware.
