DRV8334: IDRVN sink gate current

Based the datasheet, it looks like there is no peak sink current between 247mA and 600mA

If I want the peak sink current between 247mA and 600mA, what I am supposed to set ?

    Hi Tim, 

    Thank you for posting to our forum! 

    You are correct that 600mA (minimum 400mA) is the lowest Sink current setting, and to achieve a lower current value you can introduce gate resistance to further lower the gate drive current.  Since you are able to independently control the IDRVP/IDRVN values, it should be possible to achieve the desired source and sink currents after inclusion of a small gate resistance.
