Tool/software:
Hello, Team,
We are asked about how TI thinks about how an electromigration (EM) and electrochecmical migration (ECM) would affect below motor drivers in terms of a pin spacing:
Especially, GL1 and GND1 (and other gate driving pins & GND pins) of DRV8714-Q1 is placed adjacent and doesn't EM/ECM need to be taken care?
Best Regards,
Masaru
Hi Masaru,
Let me look into this and get back to you tomorrow.

Hi Masaru,
At the IC level this is accounted for with our recommended specs and IC level testing that we perform that stressed the part. Is there a concern on the customer side. Can you tell me who is the customer and their application? If they really want more detail I recommend requesting a PPAP if they have a NDA with us.
Best,
Keerthi
