Tool/software:
Hi team,
Can we provide safety operating area (SOA) of DRV8847's internal FET?
It is mentioned in datasheet 7.3.8.1.3, but my customer requests me to show the entire SOA data if possible.
Best regards,
Kazuki Itoh

This explicit information is not available at a component level. It is internally managed by device's electrical design. From a customer standpoint the recommended operating specifications must be followed. The absolute maximum specifications are provided to show the conditions under which the device can be permanently damaged. The output FETs have both overcurrent and overtemperature protection. The power dissipation in an application must be less than the maximum power dissipation that can be supported by the PCBA and ambient temperature. The section 8 Application and Implementation in the datasheet page-51 provides guidance on application design with this device. Thank you.
