DRV8424: Controlling multiple Quad-level inputs in parallel

Part Number: DRV8424

Tool/software:

Hi,

we will have up to 6 stepper drivers controlling 6 motors, some of the Quad-level inputs will be controlled by a single pin from the controller + a pin that activates a pull-down (330k/n). We want to have confirmation, that it is ok to set the 330k level of 6 quad-level input stepper drivers in parallel with a single resistor of 330k/6.
Please refer to the image below for details:

  • Hi Pierre-Olivier,

Please see below. As long as the highlighted voltage levels are in compliance it will work. I doubt a single 330k would be able to achieve this for 6 units of the DRV8424 in parallel. You may want toe measure the voltage and modify the resistor value if needed for the voltage level compliance shown in the specifications table. Thank you.
