DRV2700: Flyback simulation in TINA simulator

The comments make it sound like you cannot simulate the DRV2700 in a flyback configuration? Am I misunderstanding? I have essentially replicated the DRV2700EVM-HV500 circuit and am consistently getting convergence errors. I am attempting to create a HV setpoint of 214V for a piezo load.

Hi Nick,

Though this simulation works with the normal DRV2700 configuration, the simulation in the flyback configuration is not reflecting what I measure in the EVM. Ultimately the answer is that this simulation does not support the flyback configuration.

Perhaps you can do testing with the DRV2700EVM-HV500 - Flyback High Voltage Evaluation Module? www.ti.com/.../DRV2700EVM-HV500

I have the DRV2700EVM-HV500, and have determined that the device is suitable for my application. I needed the simulator to help me test different scenarios for part stress to aid in FMEA and part selection.

Can anyone at TI assist me with calculating voltage and current stresses in the flyback configuration?
