DRV10983-Q1: Request for configuration file

From my understanding, the competition directly shares the configuration file given the motor parameters? Also if the customer can share any details with respect to the application of the motor (where it is used eg. fan, pump etc), would be really helpful

Their application is automotive seat blower motor.

Please find the tuning file attached. Hope you have the DRV10983Q1 EVM with you to evaluate. Please modify the BEMF constant of the motor below in the gui after loading the file.

Customer loaded the config file in GUI tool, but there was an error message like the attachment below. Please let me know how to resolve this issue?

The file type shared is .CFG, you need to go load using File->Open configuration and then follow EEPROM write procedure.

For the instructions shared in the previous message , we need to use.CSV file.

I will start by clarifying that the motor should not be driven during the programming of EEPROM. 

1. Power up the DRV10983-Q1EVM within the VCC operating range as described in the Out-of-the-box Quick Start Guide.
2. Connect the USB2ANY and open the DRV10xx GUI with no errors
3. Click the Enable Configure button turn green with no errors
4. Set parameters as necessary
5. Ensure the EEPROM Key says "C0DE"
6. Click eeWrite
7. Click retry on the message and ensure that it doesn't not appear again

After this step, here's some things I'd like you to try:

• Click the Save button in the Motor Configuration Box to save the .CSV
  • Open the contents of the file and see if the values match the newly programmed values of the EEPROM settings
• Click the eeRefresh button
  • See if the changed settings in the GUI revert to default or stay the same (on the desired settings and value)
• Power cycle like you did before, restart the GUI, and click the save button in the motor configuration box to save the .CSV
  • Open the contents of the file and see if the values match the newly programmed values of the EEPROM settings

The goal is to understand if the process isn't saving the EEPROM correctly or if power cycling is the problem.

Thanks for your detailed feedback. Customer said that EEPROM key is 0 at step 5 of Ensure the EEPROM Key says "C0DE". Is it correct? if not, please let me know the detailed progress.

EEPROM key is C0DE  ("C" ZERO ("0) "D" "E"), It should be like this in Hex 0xC0DE

I checked this issue with customer, but I think that the cfg file is not loaded properly on GUI. So they will install GUI tool with LabVIEW on their new PC. Is it compatible with LabVIEW 2024 Q3 version? If not, please share the compatible LabVIEW version file.

Just in case, please let me know the parameter values for manual setup on GUI.
