Hi team,
Customer tested VGS waveform for GH1/GL1. They set the VGS_LVL as 1.4V. The real waveform does not match the theoretical one.
In the figure below, Tdead_d is asserted after VGS_LVL. However, in real waveform, the Tdead_d is asserted when VGS = 7V.
They set the tdead_d as 2us so the time range is matched.
Why does VGS stay at 7V for this 2us?

Thank you for your questions.
VGSHx waveform in datasheet is not GH. GH-SH voltage. This is common way to explain gate driving, not only TI but also competitors. FYI.
SH voltage should change after tDEAD. If customer measure SH voltage additionally, then this mechanism can be clarified.
By the way, most of customers use hand shake only. I think your customer also can use hand shake only.
